How does the villa "direct from owner" model work ?

Villa Owners list their property on one of the above sites, including photographs, a description and details about the key features of the villa including location, number of bedrooms, rental pricing etc. Normally, villa owners pay an annual fee for this listing, although there are many "direct from owner" who offer either permanently free listings, or a free trial period (Sign up for our newsletter and we will send you a list of sites that provide FREE vacation rental listings  ! )

Renters then browse or search through the listings on these "direct from owner" sites to find suitable villas. When they find a villa that they are interested in, they can contact the owner directly to enquire about renting their villa for a specified period.
